About the role
In a product company, a bug is a backlog ticket. In a traffic team, a broken form on a landing is a day’s budget down the drain: the buyer pays for every click while visitors slam into a button that does not respond. QA here stands between a campaign launch and real money. We have worked in dating since 2011, and this position is the official entry into the team’s tech track — no experience required, training included, paid from day one. You report to the Tech Lead.
What you will do
- Check landings and prelanders before traffic goes live: layout, speed, forms — across devices, browsers and GEOs.
- Walk the funnel as a user would: registration, subscription, payment — checklist in hand, step by step.
- Test tracking: does the click register, does the conversion postback arrive (we teach the tracker and DevTools).
- Write bug reports a developer understands on first read, then verify the fixes.
- Catch regressions after landing updates — “it worked yesterday” is not an argument without a re-check.
- Evolve the checklists with the tech lead: every missed bug becomes a new line to verify.
What matters to us
Required:
- Sharp attention to detail: you notice the crooked button before you read its label.
- Basic technical literacy: you get how a web page works and have opened DevTools at least out of curiosity.
- Consistency: the checklist gets completed even when “everything looks fine anyway”.
- Stable internet and readiness for full-time work.
Nice to have:
- English at interface-reading level.
- Any testing exposure — courses, pet projects, open-source bug reports.
What you get
- A genuine way into the traffic industry without the “experience required” wall.
- Training on live funnels and tracking — knowledge no course sells.
- Visible impact: you literally see the budget your check just protected.
- Fully remote work, paid from the first day of training.
Growth track
Junior QA → QA with automation and tracking-infrastructure testing, or a pivot into analytics or the tech track. Moves are earned by results, not tenure.
Compensation
$300–500 base, full salary from day one of training. Payouts on a fixed date.
Process
30-min screening → a short attention-to-detail practical (find the problems on a test landing) → offer. Up to 5 business days.
Questions about this role
Do I need commercial QA experience?
No. This is an entry role: we teach the process, the tools and the specifics of traffic funnels. What you need is attention to detail, consistency and a basic grasp of how a web page works.
What exactly will I test?
Landings and prelanders before traffic launches, registration and payment funnels across devices and GEOs, and tracking correctness — so every click and conversion is recorded properly.
Why is QA critical in a traffic team?
A broken landing or a postback that did not fire is real money: a buyer pours budget into a funnel that does not convert or does not get counted. Your work directly protects the team's spend.
What is the schedule and workload?
Full-time, remote. Some checks are tied to landing releases and campaign launches — the day is distributed rather than one continuous stream.
Where can I grow from this role?
Two tracks: deeper into QA (automation, testing the tracking infrastructure with the tech lead) or into the team's analytics/tech direction. Promotion criteria are results, not tenure.
