About the role
Our funnel is click → registration → subscription → rebill. Payment is its final step — the moment that decides whether a campaign made money or broke even. ROIcamp has been running dating traffic since 2011, and the biggest lesson of those years is simple: you can nail the creative, walk a user all the way to checkout, and still lose them because the PSP declined the transaction. Every percentage point of payment conversion is profit or loss inside every single campaign of every buyer.
You are the person who makes sure that final step never fails: a resilient provider portfolio, low decline rates, sane fees, stable rebills. Onboarding a new PSP is your process end to end — from the first “hello” in a thread to the production launch. You report into the finance direction and work daily alongside the traffic team and tech.
What you will do
- Handle daily PSP operations: limits, holds, incidents, reconciliations — resolved in hours, not weeks.
- Onboard new providers end to end: first contact, terms, KYC/compliance, technical launch together with tech.
- Negotiate fees, rolling reserve and terms with current and prospective partners.
- Match methods to GEOs: cards and wallets for Tier-1, local payment methods for Tier-2 (LatAm, CEE).
- Watch payment and rebill conversion: dig into drops with BI, propose cascades and routing changes.
- Scout the market: backup providers, better terms, new GEOs to match the team’s expansion plan.
- Keep the numbers clean: reconciliations, discrepancies, chargeback statistics.
- Plan and report on the payments direction.
What matters to us
Required:
- 2+ years working with PSPs / payment systems on the merchant side.
- Negotiation skills and systematic partner management: CRM discipline, not “somewhere in the chat history”.
- Business English at B2, written and spoken — most providers communicate in English.
- Sharp attention to detail: reconciliations and discrepancies are yours to own.
Nice to have:
- Experience with high-risk verticals, subscription products or dating.
- Understanding of cascading, anti-fraud and card network rules.
- Hands-on work with LatAm or CEE local payment methods.
What you get
- Direct impact on profit: your results show up in every campaign’s numbers, not in an annual report.
- A real mandate to negotiate: you defend provider terms yourself instead of escalating everything upward.
- Payment and affiliate conferences at the company’s expense — that is where new PSPs get found.
- Full remote and minimal bureaucracy between you and a decision.
- Payouts on a fixed date — it would be ironic otherwise for a payments role.
Growth track
Specialist → owner of the payments direction → Head of Payments as the GEO portfolio expands. The team has been operating since 2011 and adds new GEOs every year — the direction is growing, and you grow with it.
Compensation
$1,200–2,000 base. Payouts on a fixed date.
Process
30-min screening → interview with the finance lead → case review (PSP onboarding for a new GEO) → offer. Up to 10 business days.
Questions about this role
What is a PSP and why does a traffic team care?
PSPs are the payment providers products use to accept user payments. Payment conversion directly affects every campaign profit: a failing payment loses the buyer money at the last funnel step.
Which regions and methods will I work with?
Tier-1 (cards, wallets, EU/US local methods) and Tier-2 (LatAm, CEE — local methods are critical). The provider portfolio grows with the team GEO plan.
How many providers in the portfolio?
Up to a dozen active PSPs plus constant scouting: redundancy, better terms, new GEOs. Onboarding a new provider is your process from first contact to launch.
Is this finance work or negotiations?
50/50: daily provider operations (limits, holds, incidents) plus terms and fee negotiations. Payment conversion analytics — together with our BI.
