About the role

A buyer who runs profitably and a team lead who makes other people profitable are two different professions — we’re hiring for the second one. You assemble ROIcamp’s first Meta team of 3–5 buyers and turn a handful of individuals into a system whose results don’t hinge on one star performer. Dating isn’t an experiment for us: the company has been in the vertical since 2011, and ~70% of dating traffic comes from Meta. Farming, creative and analytics are separate departments working for your team. You report to the Head of Media Buying — no micromanagement, just a monthly numbers review.

What you will do

  • Hire the team alongside the Head: you run the final technical interviews and hold veto power over every buyer.
  • Own the team’s campaign portfolio: test priorities, stop/scale decisions, consumables control inside the bonus formula.
  • Keep the rhythm: daily 15-min syncs, weekly numbers reviews per buyer, a monthly cut for the Head.
  • Make sure the hypothesis → brief → creative loop stays within 24–48 hours, and escalate blockers when it doesn’t.
  • Work with the farming department under an SLA: account requests, priorities between buyers, reserves for ban waves.
  • Guard traffic quality with the analyst across the click → registration → activation → subscription → rebill funnel — per buyer, not just per team.
  • Grow people: our farmer → buyer track is live, and part of your team you will raise yourself.
  • Run your own campaigns if you want to — personal profit is bonused separately from team profit.

What matters to us

Required:

  • 3+ years of Meta buying, including 1+ year as a team lead.
  • Personal profit at $50k+/month spend — with cases we can dig into together.
  • Dating experience: SOI/DOI/PPS funnels, converting registrations into paying users, rebill economics.
  • The full Meta kitchen: agency accounts, self-regs, BMs, anti-detect, trackers, prelanders.
  • Teaching ability: you can debrief a campaign so the buyer runs the next one better on their own.
  • Honesty with numbers: your team sees the same data their bonus is computed from.

Nice to have:

  • Experience building a team from zero or from 1–2 people.
  • Tier-1 GEOs (US, CA, Western Europe) specifically on dating.
  • Working with a dedicated farming department rather than self-farming.

What you get

  • A team hired for you, not inherited: you co-hire every single buyer.
  • Infrastructure you never pay for out of pocket: accounts from farming, creatives in 24–48 hours, consumables on the company.
  • Double upside: % of personal profit + % of team profit — you earn on both.
  • Direct access to the Head and real influence over the processes of a department still taking shape.
  • Fully remote, B2B or gig contract, payouts on a fixed date.

Growth track

The first team won’t be the last: as the department grows, new Meta teams and new sources appear. Your next step is Head of a channel with several team leads under you — or your own source (Google, TikTok) built from zero.

Compensation

$2,500–4,000 base + % of your personal profit + % of team profit. Profit follows the formula: revenue minus spend minus consumables; the split between personal and team components is fixed in the contract before you start. Payouts on a fixed date every month.

Process

30-min screening → interview with the Head → numbers-based management case review: how you grew buyers, how you made stop/scale calls → offer. Up to 10 business days.

Questions about this role

How many buyers will I lead, and when?

You start with 2–3 buyers hired together with you; the goal is 3–5 within the first quarter. Further scaling follows team results.

Do I take part in hiring?

Yes, always: you run the final technical interviews for every buyer on your team and hold veto power.

How is the percentage split between personal and team?

Two separate components: % of your personal profit (if you run your own campaigns) + % of team profit. Proportions are fixed in the contract before you start.

What about farming support?

The farming department serves your team under an SLA: account requests are fulfilled within agreed timelines. Cross-team priorities are handled by the Head.

What are a team lead KPIs?

Team profit, campaign stability (a system, not one star buyer), and buyer growth. No micromanagement from above — a monthly numbers review with the Head.
